I am originally from the UK, although being an Army brat I have lived all over the world (UK, Germany, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, USA). I now live in the countryside outside of Washington D.C. I enjoy watching all forms of Motor racing, including F1, WRC, Champ Car, NASCAR, ALMS, BTCC, DTM and MotoGP. The only racing series I don’t watch is the IRL. In addition, I enjoy watching almost any form of sports. I try and go to at least one F1 race a year (usually Montreal).

I started this blog to try and solve a problem. Every year my wife and daughter would complain that they had no idea what to buy me (or our son) for Christmas, Birthday, etc. I have tried to identify items that I think most men would like to receive. Some of these I already have, and think highly of.
